Choosing Brian Kirk & the Jirks for my wedding was the best decision I made throughout the whole planning process. The dance floor was packed the whole time and they did a great job with learning the songs that we asked them to play - especially our first dance, Something by the Beatles. During the whole reception I had guests telling me how great the band was and that it was the best wedding they have been to. It is hard to express in words how happy my husband and I were with choosing Brian Kirk & the Jirks! There was so much love throughout my whole reception and I really feel that the band felt it as well! I contacted Nicole almost a year ago about booking BK&J and since then I have exchanged dozens of emails with her and she has always been so helpful and very nice. Customer service from them was excellent and Nicole really helped put us at ease. Also, it was very much, really appreciated that Nicole & the band were flexible with the band options and pricing.
The band was amazing. We knew they would be... we've seen them at Jenks and a time or two at other places and we've always enjoyed their shows so much.
Brian Kirk is awesome. Before the wedding he talked to Glenn and I to go through any questions we had and our song selections which we really appreciated. On our wedding day Brian was great with making all the announcements and checking in with me throughout the night. Brian and the band also did a great job feeling out the crowd and with song selection. My Dad loved all the Bruce songs and it meant a lot to me that Brian dedicated a song to him, took a request from my sister, and did a Happy Birthday tribute to all our family and friends celebrating birthdays that day. My sister said when she gets married in 15 years she's definitely booking the band! ;)
We have received so many compliments on the music at our wedding and I will be sure to recommend BK&J to any of my friends.
To finish I just want to say that leading up to the wedding, I said that, besides actually marrying Glenn, I told people that the band was what I was most excited about. And now after the wedding I'd have to say (again, besides marrying my new husband!) that BK&J were my favorite part. Thank you to everyone on your end that made it possible.

On behalf of my wife Carol, my son Connor and his wife Lorissa, and Lorissa's parents, Paul and Janine, I want to take this opportunity to thank Brian, the band, and you, Nicole, for the wonderful experience we had with Jirk Inc.
Brian and the band's performance was absolutely terrific, and more than meet our expectations. One of the most memorable points of the evening was the "anniversary dance" which, after having all but two couples left on the dance floor with more than forty-five years of marriage, Brian had to count up another 12 years before one of the two couples finally surrendered the floor. Brian was very entertaining during that dance, and with having two couples, each with over 56 years of marriage, as the winners, well, the moment was rather heart-warming.
I also have to thank Brian's judgment in the selection of music which the band played, and didn't play. I know my son and his wife had included Cee Lo Green's "F You" song in their play list. My guess is that Brian's assessment of the room was that that particular song would not have been right for that crowd. If my guess is correct, then I appreciate Brian's professionalism in that regard. Of course if my guess is incorrect, then I am just glad that song was not played.
I also want to thank you, Nicole, for all of your help in getting our party and Jirk Inc together for Connor and Lorissa's wedding. You are a vital cog in making evenings like last Friday night a great success.
So please pass on our thanks to Brian and the Jirks. They were fantastic! And I am certain we will catch the band out someplace in the not so distance future.

Danielle and I could not be happier with Brian Kirk and the Jirks for our cocktail hour and wedding reception. We couldn't have asked for a better performance. As expected, the band sounded great for the entire show. From their first song (an acoustic version of Bruce's "Fire"), Danielle and I were on the dance floor. All of our guests were equally impressed. The band did an excellent job of choosing music from multiple genres, and they played a great mixture of fast and slow songs. To our surprise, the band learned our "cake cutting" song which we expected to be played by the DJ!! Let me re-phrase that, not only did they learn our "cake cutting" song, they perfected it!! Danielle and I give our highest recommendation to Brian Kirk and the Jirks. We can't wait until we move back to Jerz so we can see the band more frequently... Thank you for learning their special song, "This Year's Love"- David Gray- and in my opinion performing it better than the original! We very much appreciated you sharing the stage with Lauren & Colby's friend to perform "Thunder Road" and the other Springsteen song. That was so special for all of them. Honestly, when the sax player came in at the end of "Thunder Road", it really brought the house down. It was a moment to remember.
I have written Congress Hall and suggested they add you to their preferred vendor list. Believe me, future couples would be thankful to find you. Incredible!
Words just don't do justice to our gratitude for making our wedding such a spectacular celebration and so much fun!

Everything went well! Can't believe they did all actually make it down there in the snow. My guests said they loved the music, and some of my friends want to hire them for their weddings.
Luckily, the band's sound crew had a person play the Cosmos Club's baby grand piano for the wedding ceremony when my local ceremony musicians couldn't make it in the snow. My bridesmaid was going to have to play for us to walk down the aisle before Brian's crew member volunteered!
Things really couldn't have been better. We all danced the night away and the band rocked. Thank you for all your time and help!
